Apprenticeship Program

Deciding on a career is never an easy choice. There is a great deal of information available when it comes to college, but many students are rarely aware of another path that leads to a well-paying, personally fulfilling career in the Construction Industry, and more specifically, union apprenticeship programs.

Apprentices are professionals in training - learning the basics of a particular craft or trade while they are earning a wage and benefits. What is even more appealing is the apprentices receive this education at no cost to them. Apprentice programs are paid by the training funds of the respective trade unions.

CIAP promotes the union apprenticeship programs and in cooperation with industry associations and their union partners, a career brochure was created to educate individuals on all union construction careers, as well as colleges and universities in the area that offer degree-related programs. You can view the brochure here.

For information on the construction apprenticeship programs, guest speakers or facility tours, stay tuned to this website.
